SEATTLE, WA...April 6, 2010...BEC Recordings’ newcomers The Museum is thrilled to release their debut single “My Help Comes From The Lord” on iTunes today as it gains radio momentum. The instantly contagious melodies carrying a scriptural message on the first single, “My Help Comes from the Lord,” has already hit the mark as it moved up three spots to No. 26 at AC Indicator as well as becoming new and active at AC Monitored, CHR and Inspo.

Inspired by Psalm 121, lead vocalist Ben Richter shares, “While reading in Pslam, I connected with the words, The Lord will protect your life. He will watch over your coming and going both now and forever. It is a great reminder that when we lift our eyes out of the darkness and focus on Him, our faith will be strengthened!”

This song is connecting with listeners across the country:

“In times like these, ‘My Help Comes From The Lord’ is a great reminder that God cares about everything we face and promises that He will never leave us or forsake us. What a great history lesson about our faith in Christ delivered by The Museum!”
-Scott Smith (KLOVE MD)

“‘My Help Comes From the Lord’ by The Museum is a great reminder for myself and our listeners that whatever answers your looking for in everyday situations, that we can rely on God’s leading for our situations or struggles to have a purpose for our own lives!”
-Ryan Gagne (WWWA PD)

“I got a call from a listener recently. She was struggling with the death of her mother, and having some family friction due to her mom's passing. She asked for prayer and a song that would remind her of God's love, protection, and Strength. The Museum is the perfect song for that moment.”
-Corey Mann (WHPZ PD)

“‘My Help Comes from the Lord’ is a great vertical tune that is really connecting with our listeners here on the Gulf Coast”
-Kenny Fowler (WBHY MD)

"The Museum's ‘My Help Comes From The Lord’ is a really good reminder that regardless of what life throws our way, God is the first on scene with just what we need – our help truly does come from the Lord.”
-Adam Frase (WCTL PD)

The label debut, Let Love Win, was recorded in Nashville, Seattle, and Atlanta with producers Jason Ingram and Rusty Varenkamp (Tenth Avenue North, Brandon Heath, Sanctus Real), Aaron Sprinkle (Jeremy Camp, Kutless, Hawk Nelson), and Jason Hoard (Shane & Shane, FEE). In addition to putting the finishing touches on their July 27, 2010 label debut, The Museum will hit the road with label-mates on Kutless’ headlining “It Is Well Tour,” which begins this week.

About The Museum:
The group took shape when singer Ben Richter and guitarist Geoffrey Ashcraft moved from Texas to Georgia and plugged into a church where drummer/programmer Josh Kirk was the janitor. Soon they were leading local worship services together and then traveling on musical mission trips overseas. In Romania, Josh was deeply moved to be part of a large Christian gathering in the same town square where communism had been overthrown in 1989. A nearby museum containing humble evidence of that revolution also left an indelible impression. The name The Museum came about as they hope the music they share can be the evidence that Christ has done a revolution in their hearts. Together, the band partners with Overlooked, a company that donates proceeds from t-shirt sales to provide clean water to children in Africa, help free young girls from sexual slavery, which is a global issue, and feed victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The Museum is: Ben Richter (Vocals, Guitar) Geoffrey Ashcraft (Guitar) Josh Kirk (Drums, Programming) Chris Brink (Bass).
